About the Foundation
Established in 2017, the charitable purpose of SONZF (Special Olympics New Zealand Foundation) is to fundraise and financially support Special Olympics New Zealand so that it can provide services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Aotearoa New Zealand. All gifts and donations to the Foundation become part of a permanent endowment, which will continue to grow over time, thereby maximising the distribution available to Special Olympics New Zealand forever.
